In the Spring semester of 2017, I took a foreign film class for my major and was assigned to attended a foreign/independent film festival and write an essay on a film on our film of choice. My independent film of choice was Gook. The essay I wrote for it is received full credit and, in my opinion, one of my best pieces of writing.
